If the sizing says 34 -37 and you have a 36 inch waist, expect 37 to run tight like skinny jeans. XL would probably be perfect if you have a 34 inch waist. So if you have a 36 inch waist and want skinny jean tightness then order XL and deal with the discomfort. If you want slightly loose and supremely comfortable joggers, and have a 36 inch waist then get the XXL and you will love them. Don’t expect to fit in something at the top of the range comfortably just because your waist fits in the sizing range. Always go up one size if you’re toward the top of the range if you want something not resembling yoga pants. I can't call the sizing of these inaccurate. They will fit comfortably from perfect to tight depending on where your waist lands within the sizing range. I personally don't want anything skin tight so I always go a size up.

I normally wear a large in workout pants. Ordered an xl and they fit good around the waist, seat and thighs. A little tighter than I like around the calves.Worn about 4 times now. Holding up good. No loose threads.
